Analysis Screen
The analysis form is where the user performs most interactive analysis. Combined with
the functions of the graphics form, this form provides a powerful vehicle for analysis of
claims history and forms the core of the system. Information about the summary view and
the chosen value to be analyzed are displayed on the form in a tabular manner. One row of
information represents a summary of all claims having the same code as displayed in the
leftmost column. This column represents the codes for the summary view selected on the
main menu form.
Statistical information about the selected value to be analyzed are shown in other
columns: number of claims, average value per claim, percent of total value, and percent of
total number of claims. Additionally one of the two optional fields are displayed, highest
claim or outstanding reserve, for each summary code.
